Federal acquisition rule tracking
Know what changed in the FAR, DFARS and agency supplements
FGWizards watches the federal acquisition rulebook so you do not have to. Every FAR, DFARS and agency-supplement change is read from the Federal Register, summarised from the government's own text, dated, and linked to its primary source. Browse the recent register for free; the membership adds email change alerts and the full change history.

The rules register
The register is a continuously updated list of changes to Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations — the FAR, the DFARS and the civilian agency supplements. Every entry is read from the Federal Register, carries the citation, publication date, effective date and comment deadline, and links the government document it came from.
FAR and supplements
FAR, DFARS, GSAR, HSAR, VAAR and more, grouped by the supplement that issued the change.
By stage
Proposed rules still open to comment, and final rules with their effective dates.
Checkable
Every claim links its primary source, every page shows when it was last rebuilt, and the site says so visibly if the refresh ever stops.
What you get
Every rule change in one register
Proposed rules, interim rules, final rules, open FAR cases and DFARS deviations, gathered from the Federal Register and grouped by the part of the rulebook they touch.
Primary source on every entry
Each change carries its Federal Register document number and a direct link to the original notice, the effective date, and the comment deadline where one applies.
As-of dates and a self-check
Every page shows when it was last rebuilt and the refresh cadence. If the nightly refresh ever stops, the site says so rather than quietly serving stale data.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the data on FGWizards come from?
Every entry is read from the Federal Register API, filtered to Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations and the agencies that issue the FAR, DFARS and the civilian agency supplements. We publish the government's own title, action and abstract text and link the original document; we do not rewrite the rule.
How current is the register?
It is rebuilt on a nightly schedule and every page shows the date and time of the last successful refresh. If that refresh ever fails past its freshness window, the page displays a visible staleness notice instead of serving old data silently.
Is FGWizards legal advice?
No. FGWizards reports what changed in the acquisition regulations, when it takes effect and when comments close. It does not advise on whether a rule applies to your specific contract, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship. See the Terms for the full statement.
What does FGWizards Tracker Access cost?
It is $99 one-time, a one-time payment. The price is shown before you pay. It unlocks the full change history and email change alerts for every new FAR, DFARS and agency-supplement change; the recent register stays free to browse.
How do I reset my password?
Use the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page. We email a single-use reset link that expires in 60 minutes.
Who runs FGWizards?
FGWizards is owned and operated by GCExperts LLC, which is responsible for the service and its content. FGWizards is an independent service and is not affiliated with any government agency.
